She uses Sonobat analysis software and has detected bat calls along the Pacific coast states as well as in Mexico, Germany and Australia. She has captured bats using mist nets and harp traps. She has experience and understanding of bat life history, adaptations and physiology, acoustic monitoring, net set-up, capture and handling techniques, keying and identification, conservation, and mitigation considerations.
Has designed and monitored revegetation and restoration projects and monitored a variety of construction activities to insure compliance with federal, state, and local resource agency requirements.
